Yes, we recommend you purchase your fishing license online — as well as a free “Outdoor Card” — from the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources.

Our standard camp boat is a 17-foot Princecraft with 40-hp electric-start engine, bow-mount trolling motor, GPS locator unit, livewell, flat floor, and pedestal seats.

Yes, WiFi is available in our Lodge, as well as cable television.

Our Lodge offers chef-prepared meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Our menu changes seasonally and features fresh, local ingredients (and, of course, amazing fish). For more information on meal plans, see plans and pricing.

Yes, all cottages are heated with propane furnace and wood burning stove and fireplace.

We do not provide alcohol, but you are welcome to bring your own. According to law, you are allowed to bring the following amounts of alcohol and tobacco into Canada:

  • Alcohol: Up to 40 oz. of liquor, 1.5 liters of wine, or (24) 12-ounce bottles/cans of beer
  • Tobacco: Up to 1 carton of cigarettes, 50 cigars, or (1) 200-gram can of tobacco


Whitefish Bay Camp is open May through September.

Whitefish Bay Camp is located 75 miles north of International Falls, MN and Baudette, MN. By car, follow Highway 71 north to the Whitefish Bay Camp entrance road, which is just beyond the blue Ontario Tourism Sign, 11 miles north of Nestor Falls.

By plane, you can fly commercial into International Falls, MN. Private planes can fly directly into Nestor Falls.

Upon arrival at our mainland dock site, it’s just a scenic 25-minute ride on our comfortable pontoon to arrive at the camp.

We do not allow guests to bring their own fuel or fireworks to the camp.

A $200 non-refundable deposit per person is required to secure your reservation. If you need to cancel your reservation, your deposit may be applied to a later date, or transferred to a new-party booking in the same season or transferred to a new-party booking. Your cancellation must be received in writing 60 days prior to the first day of your reservation.
